upStream was founded by filmmaker Roger Turner Jr & actor Dylan J. Murphy.
As visual storytellers, upStream has produced original pictures written, directed, and produced by Roger and Dylan.
Today, our vision remains the same.
upStream is dedicated to the continued development and production of impactful stories that pay homage to the unheard voices around the world.

ROGER TURNER JR
CO-FOUNDER / WRITER / DIRECTOR
Originally from Virginia, Roger offers the unique perspective of storytelling through the lens of a creative minority living among the masses. Roger's love for film was affirmed through the HBO series Entourage where seeing the business of Hollywood play out on screen kept him glued to the TV while driving his determination to make movies for a living. Roger would go on to study Broadcast Journalism at West Virginia University where he and fellow Co-Founder Dylan Murphy would meet and ultimately start making films as "upStream". Roger's creative prowess has been on display in all upStream projects as he serves as writer, director, editor and producer on every upStream picture to date. When not working on film projects, Roger is likely cooking up content for The Wrap Beers Podcast as the Co-Host alongside Dylan.

DYLAN J. MURPHY
